Domaine Bliemerose

  • Domaine Bliemerose

Domaine Bliemerose takes its name from:

    - "Bliem" which means "flower" in Alsatian, with a flower illustration featuring on the labels for the estate’s wines. "Bliem" also expresses the floral characteristics of our wines.

    - "Rose": the estate is located in Rosheim, "the town of the rose". Rose fragrances and aromas are superbly present in our wines, and particularly so in the Gewurztraminer.

Certified for organic agriculture, the 17.5-hectare estate focuses on the production of vins de garde (long-ageing wines for laying down) using natural winemaking processes.

The estate produces Crémant and 7 varieties of wine: Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Auxerrois, Sylvaner, Gewurztraminer, Muscat and Pinot Noir.

Continuing Christophe’s work, Carmelle SIMON-MAETZ seeks above all to preserve the natural balance of the vines in order to produce wine varieties embodying the unique, authentic characteristics of the plots, displaying a high degree of elegance and finesse.
