Baggersee Water Recreation Area

This former quarry is a wonderful walking area that’s open year-round.

In summertime, it’s a huge (and very popular) designated swimming area, with a lifeguarded beach.
Lots of activities are organised there, all summer long. Green areas, picnic areas and built-in barbecues are available free of charge.
One piece of advice: come early!
