Hôtel de Klinglin, currently the Prefect’s building

The Hôtel de Klinglin, the current Prefect's building was built in the 1730s and was completely destroyed in the siege of 1870. Painstakingly reconstructed, it became the residence of the Governor of the Reichsland of Alsace-Lorraine.
