Marin d'Eau Douce
Marin d'Eau Douce gives locals and tourists the opportunity to discover the joys of sailing on board of electric boats - no need to have a licence!
At the very heart of the Petite France, with a view on the Ponts Couverts and the Barrage Vauban, the boarding point will offer you an exceptional setting!Marin d'Eau Douce offers trips along more than 30 km of waterways.
These silent and accessible boats can be used by experts as well as absolute beginners for one, two or three hours, half a day or a whole day.
Whether for a romantic trip or a getaway with family or friends, each and every one of you will find the ideal boat among the fifteen that are available.Along these different itineraries, you will have the opportunity to discover the Ponts Couverts, the Petite France quarter, not far from the city centre, the European Parliament and the various parks where you can enjoy a rustic break.
Your trip may also take you to the south of the river Ill towards Ostwald, where you can have a picnic at the Château de l'Ile, for example...Unusual and cultural trips!
Nicolas Couderc and Olivier Doin have been friends since their childhood, and they both think the same thing: “Strasbourg has an extraordinary boating potential, but it is under-used. The locals don’t enjoy it.”
In 2014, Marin d’Eau Douce was founded in Paris and it welcomed more than 30,000 people on their boats on their first day. From 1 April to 13 November: daily, from 10 a.m. to sunset. Duration: from 1 to 6 hours, depending on the tour. Reservation recommended.
