The Mineralogy MuseumGeology and natural sciences
Established in 1890 on the premises of the Institut des Sciences de la Terre (Earth Sciences Institute), the Louis Pasteur University’s Mineralogy Museum is one of the largest outside Paris thanks to the sheer diversity of its collections (including some 30,000 minerals).
Here, visitors can admire around 240 mineral varieties and 1,050 samples, chiefly collected during the 19th century from all around the world. Numerous fascinating meteorite specimens and some fine examples of antique mineralogy and crystallography instruments are also displayed here.Type of place Museum and planetariumSchedule By appointment.
