Departing from Strasbourg the European, you'll take the Bruche canal cycle route and its bucolic landscapes to reach the Alsatian wine-growing foothills around Molsheim.
You'll then wind your way along the picturesque Alsace wine road cycle trail, between a sea of vines and orchards, passing through Obernai, Barr, Châtenois, Bergheim and Turckheim before reaching Colmar, capital of Alsace wines.
You'll then reach the Rhine plain and the Alsatian Ried on the quiet Colmar canal cycle route as far as Artzenheim.
You'll then join the legendary EuroVelo15 - Rhine cycle route for a leisurely ride along the Rhône au Rhin cycle road back to the starting point, passing by Marckolsheim, Rhinau, Benfeld and Erstein.
